The University of Montana Genomics Core Facility (UMGC) is a state-of-the-art multi-user and service laboratory that offers comprehensive genetic, and genomic resources to researchers across universities, institutions, and government agencies at local, national, and international levels.

Our team provides expert consultation, grant application support, training, and both standard and customized sequencing library preparation. We also collaborate on genomics, transcriptomics and epigenomics projects. Partnering with the Montana INBRE Data Science Core, we deliver complete solutions—from sample preparation and data generation to bioinformatic analysis.
