Equipments Details
Description
The Thermo Scientific Phenom ProX scanning electron microscope (SEM) with energy-dispersive X-ray diffraction (EDS) and secondary electron detector (SED) is a desktop SEM for high resolution imaging and elemental analysis of samples.
- Stages: Conductive sample stage, non-conductive sample (charge reduction) stage, and actively-cooled stage (≥-25°C, for frozen samples)
- Luxor GoldCoater sputter coater for optional sample preparation
- EDS allows for element identification, SED allows for improved imaging of topology
