Organization profile

The Center for Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics (CBSD) at the University of Montana advances research at the intersection of biophysics, structural biology, and computational science to uncover the molecular mechanisms underlying health and disease. With faculty spanning disciplines from neurobiology and pharmacology to synthetic chemistry and molecular computation, CBSD fosters interdisciplinary collaboration across the Colleges of Humanities and Sciences and Health. The Center supports cutting-edge core facilities and hosts seminars and symposia that elevate biophysically informed research across the UM community.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. Our work contributes towards the following SDG(s):

  • SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-being
