The University of Montana School of Journalism is a nationally recognized program where students gain hands-on experience producing award-winning work across platforms—from magazines and documentaries to podcasts, photojournalism, and digital media. Ranked among the top 10 schools in the 2023 Hearst Journalism Awards, the School emphasizes real-world reporting and strong industry partnerships, allowing students to build professional portfolios and launch successful careers in journalism and media.
