Organization profile

The Montana Biotechnology Center (BIOTECH) at the University of Montana is advancing regional biotechnology through education, innovation, and collaborative research. Under new leadership, BIOTECH connects students, scientists, clinicians, and entrepreneurs to drive workforce development and biomedical innovation—particularly in therapeutics, medical devices, and in vitro models tailored for resource-limited and rural settings. Through hands-on training, industry partnerships, and experiential learning opportunities, the Center equips participants with essential skills in communication, project management, and innovation to help shape the future of biotechnology in Montana and beyond.
