Organization profile
Located in Missoula, Montana, the University of Montana’s School of Public and Community Health Sciences (SPCHS) is the state’s only Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) accredited program, offering comprehensive undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs focused on improving health in rural and underserved communities. Since enrolling its first class in 2006, SPCHS has developed robust distance and on-campus learning opportunities, preparing public health practitioners and researchers through interdisciplinary instruction, impactful scholarship, and community service. Guided by values of leadership, diversity, engagement, and sustainability, the School is dedicated to advancing public health across Montana, the northern Rocky Mountain region, and beyond.
