Founded in 1913, the W.A. Franke College of Forestry and Conservation at the University of Montana is a nationally respected leader in environmental science, conservation, and sustainable natural resource management. Offering hands-on, field-based learning across Montana’s diverse landscapes, the college provides a broad range of undergraduate and graduate programs supported by active research and outreach through the Montana Forest and Conservation Experiment Station. With dedicated faculty and a vibrant, diverse student body, the college prepares future leaders to address today’s pressing environmental challenges with expertise and integrity.
