Research Interests
Constance Van Kley is an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Montana’s Alexander Blewett III School of Law, where she teaches courses in state and federal constitutional law and appellate advocacy. She has broad experience in litigating state and federal constitutional matters and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in cases raising complex and novel constitutional theories. Most recently, Constance served as the founding litigation director of a nonprofit civil rights firm.
