David Kilmnick

Dr. David Kilmnick, PhD, MSW, is a visionary leader who has made significant contributions in two intertwined fields: LGBT advocacy and higher education. For over three decades, Dr. Kilmnick has been a prominent national advocate for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) communities, pioneering numerous initiatives nationwide. Concurrently, he has established himself as a distinguished educator and innovator in higher education, with over 25 years of teaching experience and expertise in online education. As the founder and President of the New York LGBT Network, Dr. Kilmnick has tirelessly worked to combat homophobia and transphobia, while also serving as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Online Master of Social Work (MSW) Program at the University of Montana. His dual roles have allowed him to bridge the gap between social advocacy and academic excellence, fostering inclusive environments in both community and educational settings.
