Personal profile

Research Interests

I’m an Assistant Professor of Wildlife Biology at the University of Montana, where I lead the Charismatic Minifauna Lab. As a habitat ecologist specializing in occupancy modeling and habitat associations, my research focuses on freshwater ecosystems, amphibians, riparian songbirds, and other small wildlife. My graduate students study often-overlooked wildlife taxa and examine how habitat associations relate to reproductive fitness to assess habitat quality.
