Personal profile

Research Interests

I combine satellite remote sensing with process-based ecosystem models to improve our understanding of ecosystem functions. Currently, I am leading the development and science applications for the NASA Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) Mission's Level 3 Carbon (L4C) product, a global, daily terrestrial carbon budget informed by surface soil moisture. As a NASA Early-Career Investigator, I am use passive microwave observations to upscale ecophysiological measurements of canopy water status.
