Personal profile

Research Interests

My research focuses on post-1900 American literature, multiethnic U.S. literature, Vietnam War literature, critical race theory, and literary translation. I view literary translation as both a political and ethical endeavor. In addition to publishing scholarly articles and essays, I am dedicated to translating Vietnamese literature as a means of challenging the marginalization of Vietnamese voices in dominant American narratives about the Vietnam War and fostering cross-cultural understanding within the comparative humanities.
