Abstract
We present the development of the Counseling Session Experience Scale for Children (CSES), including the rationale for the CSES, the data analysis procedures employed to refine the CSES, and implication of the study. The results of the analyses identified a 6-item CSES, 2-factor model, explaining 53.47% of the variance. The CSES offers counselors a brief and developmentally appropriate counseling session feedback scale for elementary-aged children.
