Abstract
The authors regret an error was discovered in the classification of the departure from reference for the ecological indicators in Figure 6 B and Figure 6C of the original manuscript. The error led to greater variability than expected in the percent of plots that were departed from reference for the Interpreting Indicators of Rangeland Health (IIRH) ecological indicators in potential land health assessment outcomes 2 and 3 when using modeled and observed erosion indicators from IIRH jointly. Please disregard Figure 6B and Figure 6C from the original manuscript. Below is Figure 6 with the revised Figure 6B and Figure 6C, having correct classifications of IIRH and modeled indicators as departed or not departed from reference. The corrected figure provides evidence consistent with the preponderance of evidence approach of IIRH. For instance, in outcome 2 where the IIRH soil/site stability ecosystem attribute is departed from reference, there is departure from reference for many individual ecological indicators used to determine the soil/site stability attribute departure. The description and interpretation of the figure in the original publication remain relevant, despite the corrections to the figure. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
