Abstract
In our article entitled “Spectrophotometric measurement of freshwater pH with purified meta-cresol purple and phenol red” (Limnol. Oceanogr.: Methods 14, 2016, 864–873), we reported the temperature dependence of pKͦI in Table. Due to the different numbers of significant figures included for the fitted equation, the actual calculated pKͦI is different from the reported values in Table. Therefore, we have revised the table to add more significant figures to the coefficients and correct calculated pKͦI s at 25°C as well. We also correct the superscripts (the power of 4 instead of 104) in the first equation coefficients. These changes do not alter the discussion or conclusions of the article. Temperature dependence of pKͦI (Table presented.) The temperature is in Kelvin. The authors apologize for any inconvenience caused.
