Abstract

This paper describes an experiential approach to teaching the quality management class. Since most of the students enrolled in the class were information systems majors, the challenge was to find an organization to study that would be of interest to them. The business school help desk offered sufficient complexity and data was available for analysis. A variety of learning methodologies were used in the class to increase the level of student engagement.
