It states that a diversity committee can provide a real way to encourage, support, and concentrate on issues of diversity at the library and in the community. It adds that communication and acknowledgement of strength of the individual's distinct qualities can provide a friendly work environment which in turn can provide multicultural services that target the specific needs of library users.
