Abstract
The article offers information on the Information Literacy Standards for Teacher Education and highlights its role in linking the Association of College and Research Libraries Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education and the application of the information literacy standards in teacher education contexts. It explains the main purposes of Information Literacy Standards for Teacher Education. It discusses the performance indicators of each standard and cites their framework and foundation.
