Abstract
A report on the local particle flux reversal under strongly sheared flow was presented. The reversed flux was found to become negligible if the electron density response was governed by electron scales while the eigenmode was governed by ion scales. The interplay of magnetic shear and uniform flow shear was known to produce oscillations in the eigenmode envelope of the dissipative trapped electron mode (DTEM).
