    Abstract

Hysteresis in nickel pillars has been studied using three-dimensional micromagnetics. The modeling results are compared with the recent experimental measurements on hysteresis in interferometrically patterned pillars as measured via VSM. The modeling results help to understand several features of the experimental hysteresis loops.
