Abstract

Ab initio quantum study of the coherent control of the HHG processes was carried out by means of both genetic algorithm and wavelet transform techniques. It was shown that the dynamical phases of the dipole-emission time profile play a key role in the optimization process. The use of wavelet transform and accurate solution of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation allowed the determination of such important quantum dynamical phase information.
